This m235 looks like it will fit the bill as a great modern e46 M3.

just noticed that the 228i had little sport badges on the side where the M badge is on the M235i, is that going to be how it is or was that just for the auto show?

Those must not be US spec...both have rear armrests! Look great though!
If they are US spec that is good news (although none of the 2s in Las Vegas had the rear armrest). |

Dam that kinda sucks the 328i comes with it with just the sport package .... Thanks for the response I guess I would have to do a 228i M sport package (I think the black roof liner looks ten times better IMHO

It seems like the steering wheel in the 228 belongs in the 235 and vice versa...

That's just the same stylings as the F3x - Msport vs non-sport steering wheels. The M-Sport is very close to the M3/4.

That makes sense. I wasn't wondering if they installed the wrong steering wheels. It's a matter of opinion of course but the 228 steering wheel is sportier looking. I associate the colored stitching with a sportier car. Seems backwards...

TY for posting.
I have to say that though I haven't seen the 2er in person, looking at the pics, I don't see a lot of reason to buy a 3er or 4er. All the best.

I find the face of the M235i so perfect. I wish i could transplant it onto a 4 series!

Yep, you're correct. Good to see BMW finally offer the black headliner on more lines. I still wish it were like MINI, where you can spec it on any car, but this is certainly a welcome change.
