The upcoming Infiniti Q60 is not a competitor of the 2 series. The Q60 is what the G37 coupe was, which was a 3 series coupe competitor. Which means that the Q60 is a 4 series competitor.

Why on earth would anyone need a back up camera in a car that size? Doesn't it have mirrors? Or is that for people with permanent neck injuries?

Nice. 3200lbs with 6MT. Debadge, and grap Rob Beck's N55 upgrade when available. Wonder if some basic weight reduction like exhaust, light weight battery, etc. can bring it down to 3000lbs.

My interest would seriously be diminished if that was true.

Highly doubt we would see an M235i come as xDrive only in the US

Does anyone think getting the 235 is a needed upgrade over the 228? I feel the 28 is a great engine.

Auto Start/Stop?

Is this the same thing the X1 has where the engine shuts off during a stop...and turns on once you begin moving??

I drove in an X1...and it was terrible.

Yes. It can be disabled. It is going to be on all new BMW's, including the M3/M4.

Been hounding my local dealer here in LA. They say their floor display car has a build date of 12/19/2013. I hope he's mis-reading things.

Maybe Jason or Scott have more info.

The car looks really good. However i think seeing an M badge on the rear with more than one number after it blows and is a mistake by BMW marketing.

black interior trim with the silver line is available, not only with the red line! now i need to think which one is better, this one or the aluminium/black.

and the roofline seems totally ok to me, i mean c'mon we didn't see the whole picture yet! there's like 0 shots of non-camo'd car where you can see the whole profile.

How many people are going to be debadging the "35i" in M235i? Looks great, hope BMW does ruin it with its mechanicals. May have to look into trading up in a few years.

Yeah, I suspect that date might have shifted, since the article was written a few months ago.
