A Look at the BMW M235i Coupe Side-by-Side with 435i Coupe
BIMMERPOST NEWS A Look at the BMW M235i Coupe Side-by-Side with 435i Coupe We've spotted the BMW M235i Coupe again and although it remains in the previous stage of camouflage (you've seen it revealed in the photos below anyway), this is our first ever look at the 2 Series Coupe versus its older brother to be, the 4 Series Coupe. Next to the 435i, the M235i appears to be a bit taller. But, it's clearly narrower and cuts a squatter figure than the sleeker and more stretched 435i coupe. Remember too, that the 2 Series prototype still wears some heavy camouflage on its hind quarters and rear, which gives its rear half a bulkier appearance than on the production model. Although we don't have an end-to-end look between the cars, the 2 Series Coupe will also be shorter in length and feature a more compact wheelbase. The US will receive the M235i and 228i Coupe models to start, which will appear in showrooms by December 2013 - January 2014. An M2 Coupe will eventually join the lineup as well. The 2 series is a bit further off than I thought. Considering how good the hatch has been I wonder what could be done to improve on it in a coupe package.

The 4er coupe look larger than the old E39 7 series, while the 2er looks about the size of the old E36 3 series.
Personally, I prefer a bimmer the size of the E36.

That sleek roof line of the 4 series is looking good. That one in mineral white looks the business

IMO, the 2 series coupe looks better than the 4. It's still a bit too narrow, though. The M2 should really give the 2 series chassis the look it needs. If I ever buy a new BMW, it's going to be an M2, no question.

I would love to put the 2-series face on the 4-series body

Does the 2 coupe share the architecture of the 4-series?

the 435 just doesn't speak to me.. from a size perspective it looks to be about 90% of the current 6 and the 2 to be about the same percentage to the current 3.
As a 1 owner I like the size of the car now. I don't get why the model lines need to keep getting bigger, longer, and heavier. If I wanted a big swoopy coupe I'd by a 6. Of the 4 and the 2 I like the 2 much better (plus the headlights dont connect to the kidneys.. a plus imo). Just my .02
