Here's praying the M2 will have manual sport seat option. As much as I miss my Sportster CS seat, it is up there in age. I think a leather/alcantara manual adjusted seat with carbon fiber framing would do nicely

Love it!
Wheels in the close up photos look amazing! They look a little dark in the other photos for my liking (wheels that nice deserve to be seen at all angles lol) but very very very nice car! As for camber, I am sure Manhart would have put some on. Not sure how much you can get on the car without camber plates etc |

WOW! That looks awesome...the wheels are great, and the wheel gap is gone...also loving the seats. Very nicely done!

V3 arent necessarily electronic. If you have adaptive suspension you can get EDC KW coilovers, but suspect OP has got fixed V3's that have been adjusted to suit by Manhaart

Just wondering - when installing racing seats like that.
What exactly do you need besides the seat itself? You need the bracket which varies by car...but do you need the sliders? Also I see people sometimes add the Recaro Side Brackets...and I have no idea what those do... Just wondering what is all involved for doing something like this... |

your seat will only have bolt points in them normally. You then buy side mounts (the bits that say recaro).
you then bolt the side mounts to the seat and a slider (if you want adjustable seats) then you bolt the slider to a subframe (which has bolt holes for the car and bolt holes for the seat). Some people building proper track cars will weld rails to the car, and bolt the side mounts straight to these, but not ideal for a road car. |

So where does the seat bracket fit into this equation if the side mount is what bolts to the frame of the car? I would be buying a recliner seat so I technically wouldn't need a slider as the seat folds forward to allow rear passengers. So I would only need the seat and side mount, correct? That's not bad...I thought there were many more components... OP's car looks amazing and seems like a blast to drive!! I'm Jelly... |

but in case your car is equipped with AS, either you adapt it with something like kw ddc coils or you cut it off with a kit from kw e.g. Quote:

but when you have adaptive suspension you could still use non-electronic coils. you just need to get a kit to eliminate the AS. Quote:

otherwise the seats would throw codes. I`m 1,78m and everything is fine! And no, those are not uncomfortable. I prefer them over the stock seats, especially for longer trips because you just sit better and you sit up straight for the whole time. Quote:
and yes, it is a blast to drive! I`m so in love with the 8speed in manual mode!
