I'm a bit confused. You didn't really "leave the club", you just turned the dial up from 10 to 11. Enjoy!!!!

Leaving the club ? That's the right way to do so !!! Very nice--there is a new 2018 exactly like that sitting on the floor of my local dealership. Love the punched out fenders.

First of all, congrats and best wishes!
How are the roads where you live? Can you describe the ride experience and if it ever gets really uncomfortable due to harshness on rougher pavement?

I like the way you think...
Wanted the 2 so bad, but ended up in the M240ix.... I'll try not to read it!!!
edit... that didn't work, was a nice read and I am both happy with what I have and wanting of the M2!!! Last edited by gvstone; 02-05-2018 at 03:59 AM.. Reason: read article. |

The article seems a bit slanted IMO. I could have bought the nicely optioned M2 for about $6K more than my nicely optioned M240i. I suppose if you were willing to pay $5K over sticker and then add a warranty package, you could bump $70K. All depends on how you want the article to read.
For a $6K difference and for someone that wants a true M car that is track ready, the cost to play is quite reasonable IMO. The only reason I went w/ the M240i was the difference in the ride as a driver. If the M2 rode like my M240i, I'd have owned one. Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to denigrate anyone that went with a M2. Every time I see one, I "drool". |
