19x8.5 et35 MPSS 225/35/19 Rubbing issue
I have been running these wheels and tire setup on the front of my car for about six weeks now and have rubbing issues on bigger bumps. I am on Dinan springs and Koni yellows, and from what I have read on the forum I haven't come across anybody else with rubbing issues. Just wondering if anybody else rubs with this setup in the front on bigger dips in the road.

Can you adjust camber on the front of the 228I without camber plates or M3 LCAs? I was looking at getting the M3 LCAs, but waiting for the exchange rate to improve slightly from Cad to USD.

why would you get such a wide wheel to use a 225?

19x8.5et35 seems to be a pretty common fitment, and with a 225 MPSS it really isn't that stretched. I even have a very mild pull and role on the front fenders but doesn't seem to be enough. I think M3 LCAs will be the answer.

Ive been looking around because im buying wheels and it seems with those tires and wheel size people using that offset are getting away with it, although vmr recommends a 40 offset and people been using 40 offset with 235/35 tires with stock suspension.
That 5mm difference seems like more than you can get out of rolling the fender. When i feel under the fender it seems like the edge is folded pretty tight already. |
