How high up are you seated in a 2-series
Hi!
Something that bothers me in my current 1 is that you sit way to high above the ground. It's not like my previous E92 which had a much sportier seating position. Does the 2-series have the same issue? Christian |

I have electric seats, and sport seats, tan are optional in latinamerica, and I have 1 series with sports seat manual, and i see the high and low position is the same, but the high of the car is different so you feel more lower in the 2 series, its my opinión.

I've had a 1 series and now an M235i and I think the seating position is a bit lower in the 2 than the 1. however, it's not as low as my 335is was. the one advantage though is that it's easier to get into and out of than my e92 was.

I just got a 1 series loaner today, after adjusting the seating position I frankly didn't feel like it was much different than my 2 series. But I like the seating position in the car so I don't have any complaints with it.
Hard to say which is actually lower vs perception.

I lower my seat all the way down and have the front slightly raised to give my knees a nice feel.
My E92 had a great seating position...and I personally think this F22 feels very similar. I like it. |

No complaints here; seating is plenty low and this car has the best "cockpit" position and ergonomics of any car I've driven. It's like I'm wearing it.

Very similar to my old 128i. WAAAY better than the E93 M-Sport I had in between (I hated the driving position in that car... wheel didn't come out far enough, and seat was too flat).

I find that you sit 'in' the 2-series a little more than some other coupes -- but others definitely have lower and deeper positioning. Example: you sit at about the same height relative to the ground in a Camaro, but you feel much "deeper" into the Camaro than you do the 2-series. All that said, the 2-series isn't the absolute best ergonomically, though it's up there. Off the top of my head, I've owned three cars with better ergonomics than the 2-series: - Nissan 370z - First-gen MINI Cooper - 2001 Toyota Celica GTS You sat lower than the 2-series in the 370z and the Celica, but higher in the MINI.

I'd agree with this statement from the number of test drives I have done in the 2 Series...Still waiting to get mine.
