Torque Specs for F23 front bracing in engine bay?
Owned my 2019 M240i convertible for a few months now, looking to change the engine air filter, but it looks like I'll need to remove one of the braces in the engine bay to open the factory airbox - any idea what I should torque those bolts back down to? Spent the last 30 minutes searching but have come up short. Any help is appreciated.

Lol If you have a torque wrench, you could use it on the bolt turning it to tighten, increasing a few lbs at a time until it stops clicking and actually begins to turn the bolt, this to know a few lbs less was the #... Not an exact science, but it'll get you close and at least know how much is the upper limit. Good Luck! |

Looking up the bolt it's a M8X20- 8.8-ZNS3
The 8.8 is the "class"... some sites are saying 20-30 Nm or 14-22 lb-ft. So guten tight should do. |

The ISTA shows the 4 “Front-End Strut” screws to have a torque of 28Nm. Over tightening could strip the captive nuts in the body structure.
