M240xi Fair prices for these?
Hello all,
I am looking at three M240xi Convertibles The first has 11k miles, CPO, No harman kardon. White/black. Priced at $39,450. This is a 2017 car. The second has 6k miles, is an "executive demo". Loaded. Gray/red (but with the non-black rims). Priced at $42k. I am based in MN, so shipping costs are a pain... but it is the color I want. This is a 2018 car, has been on the lot for 75 days. The third has 10k miles, loaded. Black ext, white interior. Priced at $37.5k. 2017 model Which one would be a better deal? and how much would be a fair price for each? I only aim to keep the car for a couple of years at most. All of the above are convertibles. Thank you so much in advance! Last edited by BimBimM2; 05-29-2019 at 03:04 PM.. |

I mean, they seem pretty similar and are at similar price points...I would get the one you like the most and stop worry about the best “deal”. It’s not a deal if it’s putting you in the car you don’t want the most.

I'd probably stay away from the demo car. it could have been an executive's car but it also could have been like the cars I drove recently at BMW's ultimate drive autocross event in Philly. The latter is more likely and those 6k miles probably weren't kind. That also may be why it is "loaded".

When you mention shipping...perhaps also consider a one-way trip to pick you your new BMW? Many dealers will meet you at the airport and provide you transport to the dealership for your new car....

38-39 is the most I'd pay for the 2018 car but that's just me. |

I have been able to bring the 37.5k 2017 m240ix (black ext, white int) convertible down to 35.5. This one has 10k miles as well. I would rather go for the 2018 if it can be brought down to 39, but they arev stuck on 42k (this is not even a CPO) |
