Here's a lap from last Sunday at Canaan Motor Club in NH. This was an Open track day for Bmws and Minis hosted by the track. Only 12 people showed up, so it was literally open hot laps the whole day. My car is stock aside from wheels, tires, fluid, and pads. Wheels are 18x8.5 Apex Ec-7s with 235/245 Bridgestone S007a. Brake fluid is ATE type 200 and pads are stoptech sports. I really enjoyed how these tires performed compared to MPSS. They seem a lot stiffer and louder than MPSS. They are also a bit cheaper too. I originally bought them as an "in between" set of tires until I have camber, and then I will probably go with a square Re71r. I only had three timed laps of the day since I don't have my own lap timer. My best of these three was a 111.05. To put that in context, the fastest car of the day was a fairly well prepped 135i. (I'll insert a pic below). I absolutely loved this car. He was running consistent 1:09s the whole day. In the time trial he ran a 1:07 and change.

Are you in one gear the whole time?

My friend with a kw clubsport + sway bars e46 m3 was very impressed how the car handle in stiff edc suspension. I was in 1st in the pits. Haha, but yes, third the whole time. I probably could have used 2nd in turn 1 and the hair pin after that, but I don't think I would have benefited. The guy in the 135i stayed in 3rd too. The e46 guys were in 2nd during turn 1 since s54's make power up high.

Looks like a fun track. Not sure if you've seen this but this guy seems to have a really good line for a lot of that track.

Many COM drivers get the most out of their cars, and there's genuine talent behind some of the wheels, too. I recommend that club very highly for learning to be a better and a faster driver. |

Are you effing kidding me, of course this was the event that I skipped at cannan. I actually noticed you there last time, I never had a chance to come over and talk though. That car looks like a track beast.

Just realized that the car at the bottom wasn't yours. I've seen him there before. My best time on that track was 1:11:79. I wish I was there to run with you guys.

definitely feeling some pain on the outer sidewall. The course has way more hard right handers than left, and I also did run them pretty low. Camber coming soon. Quote:

And no that is not my car haha! He helped me out a ton by taking me for a ride in it though. It was a super cool car. Are you going to MS trackfest Sunday?

I have done my last 4 events with those guys. I like how relaxed the event is. Sometimes there are a few too many cars on the track and sometimes people enter the wrong class and are mediocre at giving piont bys. I still have a blast though. Planning on doing their last event of the summer and maybe a few autox. |

I did really like the BMW event. It was nice and laid back. I'll probably do the MT event in October too if Sunday is a good event. It would be awesome to have two estoril 2's out there.

I've been a bit absent lately on here because I bought an e36 S54 track car. Trying to keep the m235 intact and pretty haha.
