After getting all excited because BMW and my dealer were saying that my car should be at the dealership this Sunday April 10; now they say it may never have made it on the truck and they aren't sure where it is. I called the trucking company and they have no paperwork on it either.

Well it finally arrived at the dealership yesterday and I picked it up this afternoon. Loving it so far, though I will miss my 335is. Great experience with Tyler Nessit at Zimmerman BMW.

Mine sat there for a week before getting on the boat but the tracking, both BMW's and the 2Wglobal website, didn't actually show it was on the ship for 5 days after it had already left port. So there is always the chance it is already on the way.

Fortunately my dealer has been fantastic about updating me about these things...He sent me an email 3 hours after the car was officially scanned in on the boat, so I've been tracking it on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website. Scheduled to come on the 29th

For all you lucky guys who have ordered and are receiving shipments. Got a question regarding stock wheels....
While shopping at the dealer yesterday, I noticed that prior year M235s had gunmetal gray wheels; I was told by the salesman that this was their Orbit Gray for prior model years.. . When I saw the '16 with Orbit gray, as I saw on bmwusa site, orbit gray has become virtually black. My question is, are the non orbit-gray 18' stock rims a bright aluminum color as has been the case in the past, or are they slightly darker shaded.. Im interested because, as anybody knows who is familiar with Bmws, brake dust is prodigious and is all too visible on bright aluminum colored wheels.. Any darker shading of that color will help camouflage that obnoxious dust. I would love if the standard aluminum colored rims had morphed to gunmetal gray, which would help a lot. Thanks.

Do you think theyre dark enough to hide much of the prodigious brake dust bmw brake pads produce, or would you go with the new black Orbit grey option?

I could be wrong, but I think Ferric was always lighter than Orbit.
