Ah yes almost forgot about those damn missing oh $hit handles. What's up with that?
I'd advise against turning off automatic door locks. It's actually a good safety feature. |

The mirror caps should be color matched to the car...or at least black. Otherwise there isn't much else to complain about here with my 2er!

I agree with the oddly colored mirror caps (and rear diffuser) and not being able to set the car to already be in "Sport" when the car starts.
Other adds for me include not having the mirrors auto-fold when you park, and perhaps unfold when you start the car (you can probably code these things). I also have issues occasionally with starting up Spotify from my phone (connected via USB cable). Having the option of toggling to auto-rev-match on the 6MT would have been neat too. Overall though I quite enjoy the car.

I believe it will get into 7th, but I won't swear to it. It won't go to 8th.

Small gripes: the sun visor is pretty much useless when swung to the side. It's just far too short. Also, can't close the lid on the ashtray with a pair of sunglasses in there. Would be nice to have a place to them other than the too tiny console. No coin holder. |

No coin holder is a good call - I was thinking that recently. I just keep coins in the ashtray for now.

Now lets see what do i find irritating, I like it quite alot... I dislike that the GPS/Cellular time zone changing feature just plain doesn't work. It can set it based on your current location ( sometimes ) but automatically as you move from zone to zone? Nope, not even after being out of zone for a week. It also messed up for like 3 months where even when i manually entered the time zone it was wrong so i had to switch to manual time setting. Maybe this has been fixed since the last time i have been out of province but . It did correctly adjust my DST this year so that's a plus |

I can't think of anything that I hate, but some things that I'd definitely change are:
1. Oil temp, coolant temp, turbo boost guages (remedied with OBDLink bluetooth and Torque Pro on my old Nexus 4 android). 2. The tires aren't big enough for the power (No cure without flaring the fenders). 3. LED lights, at least tailights for safety reasons (I'm going to replace the bulbs with aftermarket LED tailights). 4. The ability to control all aspects of sport/comfort/sports+ modes independently like Audi does (No cure) 5. The wheels are difficult to clean, but I really like my Orbit Grey wheels, they've grown on me and look great on MW. 6. Mostly I'm tired of the Subarus and Lexus IS350s on the road always trying to race me, it tempts me to get into trouble. I still really like my car after 6,000 miles, I made a 100 mile loop along the ocean yesterday with the windows and sunroof open just for the fun of it... Ahhhh! |

You can code to fold mirrors when locked and unfold when unlocked. The IND painted mirror caps are well worth the cost. What was BMW thinking making those caps silver?
One thing I havent seen mentioned yet is the loud noise anytime rocks are spun into the wheel wells. Loudest i've ever heard in any car. |

The placement of the door handle, and lack of reasonable grab point farther back on the actual door arm-rest. (other than the ribs molded into the plastic edge of the storage pocket down low, which seem like an afterthought)
I actually don't mind the main door pull placement, I just always feel like I'm grabbing cheap, low quality plastic when using the storage bin edge. I wish there was another indentation shaped properly farther back on the armrest itself that felt better to grab/pull/use on the fingers when it's necessary (high wind, downhill, etc) (considering that's my big complaint, the rest is damn good. Of course I've got many of the other things mentioned in this thread fixed through coding)
