Radio vs CD volume difference?
Have any other AT owners experienced a noticeably lower speaker volume when switching between FM or DAB Radio and CD Media? The difference is nearly 50% and requires a material volume setting adjustment to compensate each time I switch back and forth. The issue is the same with newly produced CDs and older CDs (none of my CDs are burned). The 'Speed Volume' setting is not to blame. It is as if the input volume setting for CD Media (before amplification) was set too low in the factory.
I have a 218d with the following nav/speaker system: - BMW Navigation (6UN) - Loudspeaker system – BMW Advanced (676) I've raised this issue with my dealer's 'tech genius' and he says it is normal on other BMWs. I've not noticed the same problem on other cars. |

I've seen volume differences on mine when I roll between Radio / hard drive / CD in my M235xi. Yeah, it can be a nuisance.
