BMW 2 series van
With the new UKL platform, FWD and all, maybe it is about time we could have a decent van to use at work. Something like this..

Thanks for honest opinion alz0rz.
It's no 235, but it would still be better than most of the other van choices we have available in Europe. |

I understand that bimmer fans really dislike everything that has FWD and dosen't look like a 3 series sedan. But still, if you are a plumber, painter or electrician you might find a car like that not practical. A van would be more suitable and when spent many hours in a car every working day, who could blame them from wanting a premium van. Seems to me it would be smart of BMW to use the UKL platform and make a car that meets their needs. Almost all major brands has a van in some way and it doesn't damage their image, so why should BMW not try to enter this market now when they have a suitable platform.

I was thinking when they announced it last year it would be awesome if BMW got their foot in the commercial market. It could compete with the MB Metris (Vito)
I am in the market for a premium van and am going with the Metris (vito) but if BMW offered this in a commercial version I would be all over it!

Yeah, I don't think it's gonne happen, that BMW will enter the more commercial market. It's just to bad. Would love to have a van with the Bimmer feel. You could always buy the 2 series gran tourer and just throw out the last two rows of seats

A 4WD BMW in Caddy-size could sell, how many cars in that size are available with 4WD?
