Desperately need pics of M235i in MW
So far Funrevn (in his thread: Just got back from test driving the M235) has posted some lovely large pics and videos of the MG. MG looks great.
I desperately need someone to do the same for MW so I can compare the two colours. The existing ones of MW aren't that great. Many thx. |

It looks OK in MW but I definitely prefer the car in Alpine White. The M235i is a sports car and Alpine White suits the sporty design of the car.MW is a color that looks better on a luxury car like the 7 series.

I have never seen Mineral White in person, but I am not typically a fan of the "pearly" whites (aka what 95% of Caddys have )...
Alpine White, on the other hand, is more of a "bright" white and is very nice. It is flat though--no flake...

Thx and God bless u all for your support. Any of the full side view? Also, are the std 18" rims the so-called gunmetal colour, and if so, they'd probably not go as well w MW, correct? I'm hoping for an alternative 19s to order at the factory to save $. Also, anyone know if have option to paint upper mirror caps in body colour in Canada (as opposed to ferric grey)? What do u all think of the ferric grey mirror caps for a MW or MG M235i?

I have seen MW on 3GT, 335is and M6 and it is a good looking color. Its not a pearl like color or yellow in any way. It is just a metallic white. From a distance and without direct sun, you almost cant tell it apart from AW. AW is brighter and whiter.
I think all the ferric grey bits will look good with the MW. I really want to see it with this car. If I do, I will be sure to take some shots and post them

The pearly whites always looks dirty or dingy to me...I have never understood the infatuation with them. Even in pics tho, the MW looks very nice, almost like it has a sheen to it. Might be a nice alternative to AW, which I have had before and really liked.

I think MW actually doesn't show dirt. I have it our X1 and other than the back I am surprised how week kit hides dirt because of the slight tint and metal flake.

Actually, I always thought AW was the way to go - a true bright white - that is until I saw the MW, and OMG it is lovely. MW is less milky than AW, has only a slight perliness to it in addition to very slight platinum/silver and as a result has tremendous depth (unlike AW which looks like someone just painted the car white w a brush) and is in fact shinier than AW. It is truly a colour that m/b seen to be believed. I've also heard of Brilliant White (supposedly in between AW and MW), but have never seen and it isn't offered on the M235i anyway. My only concern is whether white is somewhat a girly colour - and correct me if I'm wrong, but lots of guys are getting white BMWs these days, cause it looks sporty.
Now I'd really like to see a side view of an M235i in MW (showing the blue brake calipers and gunmetal stnd 18: rims) to see how it looks in comparison to MW, and I know u guys/gals have the resources to get it - many thx. |
