And that's not a fully specked one. Check a couple of extra packages and options and you'll be paying around 100,000

We were pulling up to an intersection where I was turning right. I was going slow. There were cars backed up in the lane going straight so as I pulled up to the stopped cars I had to move into the right lane to get around them and turn right. As I neared the stopped cars I flicked the steering wheel right like I would in my e90 to get around it and the car BARELY moved (I'm going about 5mph at this point mind you). I then nearly panicked and had to crank the wheel and seriously almost clipped the back right corner of a stopped car when I was moving slow about 35 seconds into my test drive. This was in normal driving mode and it was crazy how much wheel input was required when moving slow to turn the car vs what happens in my e90. It is VERY VERY different than the BMW steering feel of old... again, I'm sure you'd get used to it but I'll probably never have to. If anybody has a new 335 that didn't like the steering at first I'd love to hear if they have gotten used to it and don't think about it anymore or if it still bothers them. |

It seems BMW driving modes create just as many problems as they solve: if you forget to switch to "Comfort" when slowed-down you may hit other cars because of unexpectedly heavy steering effort.

Things sound good till you get to the steering part being mute. Seems like the EPS is still not there in M235i.

The Sport+ is still soft vs E9X steering, do you honestly adjust modes based on speed? |

This bothered me too, enought to ask the BMW reps about it. The highest volume car BMW sells was completely missing yet they had 7 series on the floor? I was annoyed mostly because I wanted to compare interior size on the 2 and 3 directly. All they had was a 3 vert and that's not as easy to compare in my opinion.

Well I guess I can only hope that the steering feel has been sorted out to a better extent with the M235. The steering feel has always been one of my favorite aspects of driving a BMW. We shall see...

Plus with all the new price leader entry level lux market cars, why wouldn't you have a 320i there? Not saying have every car in the lineup (it's too bloated) But have one of every body type.

Hey buddy! Always great to 'see' you here.
Yes, it's not logicial anymore.... I love it more every day. I've never loved a vehicle as much... part of this must be psychological. :P What about you? What do you think of the new M235? I sat in one at Detroit last week. The overall size of the car was perfect. And despite my short-ish height, BMW's seating adjustments allowed me to find my perfect seating position - again.

I must admit, however, I did hit a tree in my dad's manually steered 1972 Ford pick-up. In my defense, I was 13, and that truck had a steering wheel that was about 3 ft across, and my arms were about as big as toothpicks.
