hmm...no executable launch...no signs of worm or trojan...no malware....no macro enabled scripts....i dont see whats wrong...i code for a living and i dont see any signs of forced entry on my laptop...

NOD is really not that good man...one antivirus will not get it done if u want your machine completely clean...try windows malicious software removal first, go online and scan through your machine with trend micro, run a scan with avg free, install windows defender and run it. From there on out just keep defender and avg runningonce a day(this is if you want to go the $$FREE$$ route)...

I'm using internet explorer and as I posted before, my Kaspersky didn't find anything.

Interesting. I already visited that thread before this one and didn't detect anything either. I'm using Firefox although I do appreciate what the OP may have thought was a fair warning.

At least now I'll be watching for other system behaviours!
