Brigher Ambient Lighting

I noticed (or not noticed) that the footwell and the little light over the cup holders are pretty dim at night.
Is this a voltage thing or just aging LEDs? Is there a way to make them brighter, do I just need to swap the LEDs? Ambient lighting is already set to 100% but could barely notice them on at night. TIA!

They're supposed to be like this. You can get brighter LED modules from sites like AliExpress, but as someone who's tried every vendor - the colors don't match the OEM colors, and finding a matching pair of footwell/cupholder LED modules will never work - there'll always be a color difference which will drive you crazy.

If you don't mind the color difference, then go for it. The swap is very straightforward for the footwell lights - as for the cupholders, you'll have to remove the middle airvents, HVAC control, and then pull the trim that holds the cupholder LED module.
