Have you ever been to a nude beach?

We are travelling to Europe next year and one of our destinations has a nude beach (Sardinia)

Is it expected that you go nude at these beaches? I'm sure there will be others we will end up at...or is it 'optional?'

Its optional. You're not expected to get nude and no one really cares if you don't and no one bats an eyelid if you do. Nude beaches are all about freedom of choice and the ability to choose what you feel comfortable with.

Optional as above. Half beach on St. Maarten was not nude, and other half of beach was. We ventured over to the nude side to have a look at what was going on and expectations - nothing really. If you want to, go ahead.

But this I can say - you will find very little of interest over there. It generally attracts a certain type.

I've never been and have no interest at all. I can't imagine what some ppl may fantasize about, e.g. all female swimsuit models and they're the only sausage there...I'd imagine it's gonna be a whole bunch of nasty unfit nude ppl lol.

Got talked into to going to a nudist beach once in France.
It was Ok but got quite a sunburnt butt so if you go take sunblock for that area at least!

Wife and I were in Torrey Pines (La Jolla, San Diego), and climbed down a steep cliff to a beautiful beach for the sunset. A few naked dudes kept wandering into our frame for sunset pictures.

Turns out it was Black's Beach. LOL

I've gone topless a few times while in Europe. However, some people SHOULD NOT go naked. If I wanted to see mummified old relics, I would go to a museum.

Let's be honest here, I don't care if you look like, say, Brad Pitt, for example. The male body simply is not good-looking nude, at best is if we throw on a pair of boxers. That thing just looks like an afterthought god, the universe, or whatever attached to us, vs the female body, it's a work of art. Nuff said.
