Summer cracking below 20*
Has anyone ever experienced their Summer Performance tire having their tread crack in twenty and below Fahrenheit temps.
Anyone have Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires crack in cold weather? |

I can tell you this is a problem specifically for the N Rated Porsche tires as I've had to claim MANY sets for warranty purposes. As per Pirelli and Michelin (only brands I see this with) it does not effect the performance or safety of the tire and is merely cosmetic.

You mean you're running them at those temps or just sitting in the garage? I'm no chemical engineer but I know the compounds used are not meant to perform well at low temps, get hard and brittle, etc.
