Phoning home

So I just got my first phone call from the dealer that my car needs a service. I'm pretty annoyed that this car is phoning home.

How can it be disabled? What other information is it sending?

Its called Teleservice. You can disable it by calling the dealership. It usually sends the estimated service due and any basic information on file such as phone number, address etc

Does that disable the feature, or just stop the phone call?

The feature cant be disabled but you can call the service department and tell them to make a note in Teleservice that you would no longer want to be contacted in the future. Thats what i do when customers domt want to be bothered by automatic calls, mails, appointments etc
