Definitely something deeper and more aggressive that can be heard when active sound is disabled, but not obnoxious. Adjustments of the tip is also mandatory since I have an aftermarket diffuser.

In case OP or anyone else is wondering about the quality of REMUS exhausts, here are some pics of the M2 and M3 exhausts on display for the SEMA show.

I have had the Remus exhaust on my m235 with a gintani dp for a little over 20k miles now and it is perfect. It sounds very deep aggressive and loud enough when you rev through a gear but won't drone on the highway. I love it!

I'm looking more for sound and looks. Can you guys confirm if the rear diffuser needs to be removed in order to install a new exhaust?
