This should give me plenty of time. I hope with their "gestation" doesn't translate in a 60k MSRP.

One more time this article says nothing new about the future M2. In fact, it has some misleading suggestions I believe, most notable of which is the N54 as the engine which I believe is very unlikely. I hope BMW and M division are more imaginative and braver than these media products suggest and can give us a worthy and fresh replacement of the wonderful 1M, and not just a newer body and a reconsidered (read: higher) price tag with overall similar performance. It should at least try to better the 1M and not just repeat it in a new cloth and in big production numbers. I think everyone who is waiting anxiously for the M2 while holding a 1M or M3 in their garage are expecting to see this happen.
