Picking my m235i tomorrow
This is my first post to this forum. I am picking up my M235i tomorrow. The car is 2015 MW with red coral interior, fully loaded and with some M performance aero parts with 5500 miles. I am so exciting after selling my e36 M3 2 years ago, now I am back. Here are some quick photos from phone.

Love it and you will too. So cool to see you chose the 6MT car. I have silver vs white with the coral red interior as well. Congrats.
I went from E36 M3 to E46 M3 to M235i. The torque of the N55 engine will blow you away IMHO. Living in a hilly area the hill hold feature is awesome. Enjoy and have fun!

Beautiful Car!
I went back and forth on the colors. Always wanted the coral red, but couldn't decide between your white and Mineral Grey. I went Grey, and love it, but your looks great too. Good luck with it!

Thanks for all comments. I used to own e36 and e46 m3 and sold all of them since teenager kids need cars to drive around so I have to adjust my priority. Now they are all in college so wife agrees to let my toy back.
I am not a fan of E90 and E92 M3 look, therefore I was looking into Porsche cayman but then through the youtube video, I see M2 shows up in comparison. The M2 just sucks me back in BMW world. But M2 is so hot and I will need to wait for a long time to see the used one get below MSRP so I have decided to give M235i a try. Test drive last Friday and I love it. It feels like I am back into E36 and E46 and with more HP, great handling and good looking. The 6MT is so smooth. When i saw this car on carmax, I was hooked. It is the color and the setup I want. I am lucky to be able to get it transferred to Austin since there was another Houston buyer was interest at it too. Glad to be back. Thanks. |

Does it have the LSD? That would be stellar even though I'd say the eLSD is pretty impressive for what it is when in DSC Off (only mode eLSD is active). You'll love the color combo. MW, lightly tinted window, and the red interior is so catching. I get TONS of looks and comments which blows my mind because I figured the car would be low key in most peoples eyes. I really think it's the MW color and how it pops and shadows the body lines so well and makes the car look much more expensive that it is.
Nice choice with the 6MT. Slower than the 8AT? Yes. More fun to drive? Absolutely. I love the 6MT though I wish the clutch take up wasn't so long. I miss the quick take up with my 2012 WRX. It was a bit easier to drive in a sporting manner. |

Congrats, nice looking color combo. I would also remove the crooked Carmax sticker. When I was searching for the M235i some of them I seen sold Carmax's didn't have the sticker.

Thanks for everyone's comment, the car is under my possess. The carmax sticker and licence frames are all gone. The car looks great and it is a pleasure to drive. I will post more photos once I got it polish and wax.
