glossy black vinyl wrap for roof with sunroof & fin

Just was quoted $450 for m235, it does include taking headliner down to remove fin. Seems excessive in price. Long Island / Queens north shore, not Flushing.
Where can I go in the Queens/LI area to get a professional job done without the KY lube lol....Suggestions...

Just a note here...you do not need to have anyone take the headliner down. Don't let them tell they must. The radio fin comes off with "fishing line" worked front to back carefully; which does ruin the gasket holding it on.

Then to wrap the top, they need only work around the hole exposing the wiring. Best not to allow any rainy weather getting in there while exposed of course.

"Wrapping the fin" seems dicey...I had mine painted while off. Then reapplied with sealant. The rubber gasket OEM will be ruined. You could buy a new fin, unpainted, around 50$, paint it, peel off the paper and apply a new fin in place.

Sorry..one more note: you can not even access the fin from inside. Its not attached to the roof by any pins, bolts or clips.
You could take headliner down and still not be able to get fin off roof. Pulling the headliner loose is not correct. The fin only come loose from previous post method above.

Got quoted 325$ CAD for 3M 1080 Gloss Black; roof, fin and rails. They did not mention having to take down the headliner

There are a number of YouTube videos with different methods of taking off the fin but if anyone is telling you they need to take down the head lining then they do not know what they are doing so stay clear of them..

I used Sanford Auto Spa on Merrick Road in Lynbrook to wrap my roof, fin, rails and tints. There's no need to remove the headliner when wrapping the fin or roof.. The owner John is young and he does impressive quality work. He cares about the work he pushes out so you return for other mods. Great prices as well...My car will be there on Tuesday!

I had my roof wrapped three years ago and the fin was wrapped on the car.
