Is anyone running spacers? What brand?
I have style 264 wheels from my old 1 series and I want to try them on my new f22. They look good on the car but don't clear the brakes.
I found a forum post from a few years back and 12mm should suffice. I've been looking at ECS Tuning because I trust them but front and back put me at $260 CAD. |

BTW, and a bit off-topic, one thing about spacers that isn't always understood is that if you need an oddball size, you can always buy a wider spacer and have its width reduced by a machine shop. Voilą, custom spacers! Further BTW, if you're ever in the market for spacers of 15mm or less, this is where you go for the world's sexiest spacers: https://www.rogueengineering.com/Rog...cer_p_238.html.

Venum on Amazon 12mm with extended bolts. $120 shipped or so. Flawless quality, probably comes out of the same factory the name brand ones do, had them on for a few weeks now:
https://www.amazon.com/5x120-Black-C.../dp/B01MY6T3IQ I did shop around and looked at every available option, and ended up with these. Name brands really take you for a ride with the price, it would have been 2-300 otherwise which is rediculous |

I used 12mm all around. Edit: noticed you're from Toronto and have an EB car too. Welcome to the forum! |

How did they foul up the calipers and what tire size and brand did you put on? |

On the rear the spokes would hit the M-sport brakes when I would try to spin the wheel, never even test fit the fronts without the spacer. There is no way you can run these without a spacer if you have the bigger brakes. I'm running 255/35r18 in the back and 225/40r18 in the front. They're Firestone Indy 500 tires. |

Needless so say I'm quite disappointed and I'm currently set to get the original rims installed on Tues, but with Conti ExtremeContact Sport tires. Could you private message me as I wouldn't mind discussing this further as I really want to make this work. Last edited by F22Blue; 04-15-2022 at 10:07 AM.. |

My car is RWD so maybe there is a bit of a difference? The Continentals could be a bit wider even if they're the same size too. |

Yes, it could be either one or a combination of all of those points. At least putting on some good performance tires will be better than the OEM run flats. I now have a set of gloss black rims that I will be posting for sale; know of anyone that might be interested? Lol
