Opinion on my deal?
I just placed an order on my 228i 6mt. Shopped around 3 different dealerships and this was the best deal I got so I decided to pull the trigger. Was wondering how good/bad this deal is that I got:
MSRP: $41,300. $4000 due at signing (I did max msd). $457 a month. As a side note, I am hopefully doing the PCD in July! |

I thought I got a pretty decent deal mysef.
MSRP 228i - 40,600. Got it down to 37,700. Lease offer was $428 x36 mo with $3000 down for 10,000 annual miles. Select Financing is $447 x60 mo with $3000 down and a balloon of $14,616. Probably going to go with the Select financing and pay the balloon after the 5 years. |

Putting $4k down on a lease is a bad idea if it was done as a cap cost reduction and not MSD's + Fees/Taxes.
Cap cost reductions go straight into the fire if anything happens to the car. If you total the car driving off the lot that money is vaporized.
