bring it to a tire wheel repair shop.
Will prob cost half of what a new rim will cost you and look just as good.

I don't know much about wheel repair.
On some wheels that are 3 or 4 thousand dollars apiece, a strip of all paint, a welded on piece of alloy to keep the weight and repair the gouge and then a repaint and bake to make the finished product very high quality. This is what I think a good safe repair is. Some repairs use an epoxy to build up the gouge and then sanded to shape. And some repairs simply sand away material to give a smooth appearance that after being painted, close inspection will show the damage site. I at this point I wouldn't fix it. And I think a lot of very powerful very expensive road cars owned by people that know aren't always anxious to make cosmetic repairs on curbed wheels. |

doesn't look that bad...
Dremel it down so its flat and flush and repaint. Or just buy new, keep this as a spare with a tire on it.

This is a relatively routine fix for a wheel repair shop. Luckily, your wheels don't have something like brush work on the faces, otherwise it would cost an arm and a leg to repair. Gloss Black should be relatively simple. Just a matter of weighing the cost/benefits to repair or replace.

I had a similar curb rash about 3" in length on my G37 hypersilver wheel and a local wheel repair shop (Wheelkraft NW) did an amazing job out of their mobile truck while I was at work. They dismounted tire, repaired and repainted the wheel, and remounted the tire all for $125. The hypersilver was an exact match!
