245/40/18 on factory staggered in the rear?

Hi guys, looking to get all season tires for the factory staggered wheels. The PSS have been excellent but would like an all season tire. The factory size of 245/35/18 makes this very difficult only giving me two options on tirerack.com. If I go 245/40/18 there are many more choices to pick from. Tirerack told me the do not recommend the 245/40 as it is 1 inch taller in overall diameter. What is your opinion on tire size for the factory staggered rears? Appreciate the help!

You can actually use 225/40/18s on all four wheels.

The optimum size from Michelin on an 18 X 8 wheel is 225/40/18.

Thanks for the input. If I wanted to stay with staggered setup, what issues (if any) would I face if I did put 245/40's on my rear factory wheels? Speedo off a little? (it is from the factory anyways) anything else?

will this trigger any dash lights since the rears would be taller than the fronts? Factory staggered the fronts are actually larger in diameter than rears.
