Modding by adding stuff is one thing, but recently I have noticed a lot of members putting huge - and presumably hugely expensive - wheels on their e90s. Fair enough, even if 20" rims aren't to my personal taste, but what do you do with the wheels & tyres you take off? I mean, they are fairly valuable items and you already paid for them once when you bough the car

I'm keeping my stock shifter in the closet, it's not worth much and if I decide to turn my car in when the lease is up I will need it.

I keep my OEM 162s in my garage for long trips. RFTs are safer and less of a hassle to worry about while travelling. Also, if/when my aftermarket tires get a flat or god forbid, the wheels need repairing, I can throw on my original OEM wheels while the others are getting repaired.

Save it for later! A modded car is rarely worth it's weight when you trade-in/sell.

Micheal, On my last car, I upgraded to a BBK (Big Brake Kit) and only my aftermarket rims would fit, my stockies wouldn't clear them! So this time, no BBK upgrade for me, because like you, I will need my OEM wheels to fit when the time comes!
