Dinantronics Sport iOS App: No device detected
Hi all:
Anyone able to connect their iPhone to the Dinantronics app with the Sport Performance Tuner? Ignition on, engine off and the app keeps saying "no device detected." Cannot get to a screen where the MAC address of module is input. Thoughts? |

I have the Android version and have been using it for a couple of months w/o any issues....except....just recently it started doing exactly what you're describing.
In fact, it's doing this on both my Dinan Sport Tune on my n20 x3 as well as my full Stage 3 Dinan tune on my 235. Maybe Dinan will chime in on Monday. EDIT: mine says "Connection refused"....?

Thanks Dinan. Definitely using the right app for each of my tunes. For my Stage 3 tune, it doesn't even get that far - to enter the MAC - it won't connect to bluetooth.
In any case, let me check again. Maybe I got the message wrong.

OK just checked the sport tune version.
I get "Pairing rejected" and second message "Unable to communicate with Dinantronics" I'll check my Stage 3 connection tomorrow if I have time. EDIT: sorry I kind of high jacked the thread because the OP's question was about iOS not Android. it's just that we were having similar issues.

Wrong app.
That was it. I wasn't using the app with the red "S" in the logo. Not the best user interface—a bit confusing. But, at least the boost is controllable now. Must say, for under 300 bucks and about 3 minutes of time, this is a nice little kick.

How do you like your dinan sport? I've ordered one, it's here and I hope to install this weekend!
