What upgrade would you do next?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Current mods are: MP Exhaust MP Black Kidney Grills Carbon Fiber Shifter knob Carbon Fiber gear shift cover 15% tint all over I have about $1000 to spend on my next mod, but I can't decide what it should be, so I figured I'd get some advice. I've narrowed it down to the non-electric MP Steering wheel, the carbon fiber trim, or the front splitter. What would you guys do? Other ideas?? |

I just put on some Ground Control camber plates and holy shit does some front camber make a difference. The car is razor sharp now. I'm also planning (in the immediate future) to add (i) APEX 18x8.5 wheels (square); (ii) 255/35 tires (square); (iii) stainless brake lines; (iv) Porterfield brake pads (just to see if I like them); and (v) MP Exhaust. I already have ATE 200 brake fluid and the M-Performance Black Kidneys. My stuff is for go (except for the MP stuff -- thats just for fun). If you wanted show, I would do some carbon fiber trim. I cant deny that it looks nice. Maybe the mirror caps? |

This + Wheels
Drop + Wheels, in my opinion, has the greatest influence on exterior aesthetics. Few other things to look at : Tune, Front splitter

I like the idea of doing all the wheels/tires/drop stuff at the same time. Just so you can get the fit, spacers, alignment, wheel balancing all out of the way. I'd finish the interior CF and then save up for the drop/wheels next. Good luck! |

Speaking of drop, am I the only one who thinks that the stock car sits awfully high? I was parked next to a VW Beetle of all things and a Honda Accord on the other side today and my car looked to be about the same height as those. If I were the OP, I would definitely go with springs as the next mod.

There's definitely wheel gap even with 18's, but I don't think it's all that low either. My MINI was lower.
