M-Perf Front Caliper with Base 340mm Rotor?

I currently have the m-performance brakes on my m235i, however I tried fitting 18" wheels, and the front brake rotor/caliper is too large for the inner diameter of the wheel.

Would it be possible to swap out the 370mm brake rotor for the base 340mm brake rotor, and still have the m-perf caliper fit on the slightly smaller rotor? This would allow the extra space for the front wheels to fit (rear wheels fit just fine over the rear 345mm and 2 piston calipers)

I'm not worried too much about any potential loss in braking power, mainly just concerned about the m-perf caliper not being compatible with the smaller rotor.

This is the part in question - will this work with the m-performance brake caliper intended for the 370mm rotor?

The rotor size wouldn't change the location of the caliper at all, that's built into the caliper itself. The rotor would be 1 inch smaller leaving a 1/2 inch of pad hanging off the side not touching anything.

You would need to change both the calipers and rotors, or simply get wheels that fit correctly.

I would guess its a no. There is an adapter that people use on the caliper so that it can run 370mm instead of the intended 340mm as the caliper for both size have different mounting point.

This however might be the first case I have come across of someone trying to run 340 with 370mm caliper. I doubt there is any adapter out there or if its even possible to build one. On the bright side, maybe you can try finding someone for a direct swap?

Is mounting 18" wheels that fit over the caliper an option for you?

For example, the 18" Style 436 wheels that came stock on my M240i fit over the M-Performance Brake Kit with 370mm front rotors that is installed on my car. The wheels clear the calipers by a good 10mm, as seen in the photo below.

The stock wheels fit over my M2 380mm brake swap with a small spacer, I think you simply have a wheel issue.

Good point, as my setup has an 8mm spacer that I forgot to note.
