Help, horrible vibration from tweeters in sport/sport+ driving

Hello f22 fans, I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue or similar. I’ve just started experiencing a rattle/vibration from what I believe to be my tweeters/ speaker assembly, although may be from center speaker on dash behind the display, it is driving me absolutely nuts. The good thing is I don’t have the vibration unless under specific circumstance, the noise only occurres while in sport mode and when I’m above 2500 rpm up to around 5k rpm and usually under load/accelerating. My guess is to be a loose fitting cover or speaker that is resonating with the cars vibrations when I hit those rpm’s, oddly it doesn’t happen in comfort or eco mode, maybe the ASD fake engine sound plus the engine vibration is causing the speaker or speaker cover to resonate and vibrate with just the right combination of those factors? Aside from that the speakers play audio just fine and they don’t make noise at all any other time. I’m going to try coding out the ASD tomorrow morning and see if that changes anything, if so I’ll probably just leave it as they work fine at all other times. Although my ocd probably won’t let me leave it, I’m sure I’ll end up taking the door panel off to get to the bottom of it, if it is a loose cover or speaker I’d imagine it will only get worse over time, the surprising thing is my cars only got 10k miles and yet the speakers rattle/vibrate horribly in sport mode. It ruins the drive when I want to be sporty. I’ll upload a sound clip. sounds like a plastic cover vibrating at a high frequency, almost like a loose heat shield vibrating at higher rpm is the best I can compare it to. It’s killing me when I want to drive sporty or just have the car in the more aggressive drive mode as it overpowers the sounds I want to hear, I’ve tested the speakers relentlessly to see if I can recreate the sound any other way and I can’t, the only time I can get this vibration is accelerating though 2-5k rpm while in sport mode. I’ve played a variety of music/radio/talk podcasts, phone calls etc. and played with all the tone functions as well as swept through a wide range of single and multi tone frequencies with a tone generator and have done all this at high and low volume levels and cannot get a single rattle never mind a vibration, when I drive I’ve tried pressing my hand against the speakers and it doesn’t stop it from happening, and I find it odd it only happens under those particular driving circumstances. Please help! I can only think to start taking apart the door panel to get the tweeters out and replace the entire assembly since I am certain it is coming from them. I really was hoping to get to enjoy the car a bit before having to do something like this considering I just picked it up a couple months ago and winter has kept me from driving it. The worst part is that my m235i was a unicorn of a find, it’s a single previous owner (elderly I found out) from south west Florida who bought the car brand new in 2016 fully loaded with ALL the options, m pref, aero kit, exec package, cold weather pkg, technology pkg. literally not an option left you could get that wasn’t ordered on it, and it was garage kept meticulously maintained, oil and fluids changed every single year even wiper blades were swapped out each year! and it was only driven avg. 1000 miles a year! 10k miles over 10 years and decided to finally sell. It was an absolute dream to find and I’ve been looking and I haven’t seen another in this immaculate condition and bearly broken in anywhere in North America. So I’d assume there wouldn’t been a single issue at least not for a while and now that I’ve taken her out for a few spins I’ve noticed this horrible vibration, I’m not driving hard or beating on the car in any way, and I hardly even use the audio system as I love to hear the sound of the n55 and exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I said I will code out the asd tomorrow and see if that stops the noise, if it was the asd rattling the speakers would that be an issue with the amp ? Or maybe the speakers are blown? I find it hard to imagine since the audio from all the speakers works very very well and there isn’t any other audible discrepancies from the sound system. Thank you!

Okay so I have done further investigation and I have found what I believe to be the problem.
Firstly, I do not think it is the center dash speaker or the tweeters but the door speakers.
I do not believe the door speakers are faulty by any means I think the housing they are mounted in is either poorly insulated or loose causing the speaker to vibrate but only when the ASD is active while accelerating in sport mode.
I have tested where the vibration is coming from with my hand while driving in sport and it is the door panel directly above the door speaker as well and the door handle right above the speakers. I retested with all the same control factors, ie. throttle input, road driven on, sport mode, windows up, no radio etc. but the second time I turned off the ASD noise and when retesting there was absolutely no vibration or noise from anywhere. Confirmed! It is in fact the ASD played through the speakers causing them to vibrate or causing the housing and surrounding area of the door speaker to vibrate aggressively. I will be removing the door panel to inspect that nothing is loose, and at that point will either properly insulate the existing HK speaker as the sound quality is fine for my ears, or i will upgrade the speakers and insulation all at once. I will test one door at a time to make sure that does in fact fix the problem and then will do the passenger side. More than likely I will just upgrade the speakers and insulation all together considering I don’t want to take the doors apart again in the future and I plan on keeping my car for a long time so why not just do the upgrade while the doors are apart. Attached is a sound clip of acceleration in sport mode with both ASD on and off.

Just a thought i had a bad vibration sound narrowed it down to the center speaker when I popped the grill off there were a bunch of plastic places from the back of the grill laying in the speaker cone removing these eliminated the sound

Thank you, I’m going to pop off the center speaker cover and check for loose screws and bits, will update with results.
