I've been running BM3 stage 1 93 for about a year and just recently started having a problem. Under about 80%+ throttle I feel a slipping. Only way to describe it is it feels like I am spinning a tire for a millisecond and losing traction, but I'm not. Could this be the spark plugs? Car just crossed 100k miles and I've never done the plugs. If you drive the car casually, it doesn't happen. Only accelerating pretty hard, at any speed. Only other mods are intercooler and charge pipe to support the tune.

start with a data log and send it to Bootmod3.

While I don't believe the issue is directly linked to your tune, this step will help eliminate various potential causes.
It's an effective way to troubleshoot the problem

Wouldn't be the clutch then if it's an auto.
Is it Xdrive?

If so I recommend changing your TC case fluid and have it recalibrated with ITSA.

I also noticed that you said you think your spark plugs have 100k miles on them, they definitely need to be changed along with your coil packs. However I would be shocked if they made it that long.

EDIT: Mike is right above, log it and send it in. Much less guesswork that way.

I replaced spark plugs and coils. That fixed it! Thanks! Put in NGK 97506 gapped to .022. Running great now and really easy job.
The Bosch plugs I pulled out said “417” on them so thinking they were done in 2017 with 50k mi right before I bought the car.

Good stuff! Glad you found it simple. Getting to the 6th plug on the X3 variant is very tricky.

All in all nothing profoundly difficult and saves you a ton of money.
