Finally heard back from N54Tuning. His response was that the control boxes sometimes get scratched during shipping. Sounds believable however then condition of mine is beyond what I would consider normal. He tells me it's brand new however I'm not convinced. Don't think I'll be buying any more parts from N54Tuning.com.
