I started this in late July but no allocation was available for what I wanted. They finally got an allocation in on August 21st and I placed the order on the 24th. The allocation was for a week 42 build and it was built on the 15th of October (mid week 42). I got the production number about 28 September and the VIN was assigned on 2 October. The car left the factory headed to the port on 22 October and was on the ship the 28th. |
Thanks for the detailed reply. I'm about to order and actually don't want delivery too soon so this sort of timeline would work great for me.
