Not sure why this was never gone over before you went to pick up the car.
I am buying my car with cash and told my CA that, I am getting a 2015 228i xdrive and I put down $1000 at signing, I will pay the rest $38,000 when I go to pick up my car.
The day I went in to test drive I knew I was buying this car and buying it cash, we sat down and came to the price of $39,306.04
Doc Fee was $75
Sales Tax $3,11.04
DMV Fee $105
Tire Fee $10
Insp Fee $10
The only thing I haven't been charged for yet is my tinted windows which the dealer will have done as soon as my car comes in and is ready to be picked up.
I used to cash to pay for the down payment of $1000 and will use cash to pay for the remainder but everything has already been broken down for me and before I lay down any cash or sign anything I will make sure everything is gone over again.
I don't know about the lease agreements (I don't like leasing my cars, I much rather own my car) but something like this should have been talked about before you went in and was ready to pick up the car.
