It might have something to do with the fact that 245/35r18 MP4S is an XL rated tire which means it has a stiffer sidewall than the OEM BMW Star 225/40r18 MPSS. It's also why the 245 MP4S don't suffer from the severe sidewall wear like the stock tires.

I know a lot of people(me included) are running higher pressures up front to compensate for the sidewall wear with the stock MPSS setup, what PSI are you at for your fronts? I am assuming 32F/38R? I plan to do 235 up front and those are also XL with the MP4S
