I've owned just as many G series cars as I have F so I'm not sure I follow your logic in "justifying my purchase".
Also, comparing F80/F82/F87 in this discussion vs. the G series cars to Buick/Oldsmobile is comical.
I understand and respect your appreciation for BMW's aggressive design language, but looks are subjective. And my opinion, is that they look like
comparative to their previous gen M counter parts.
