I think the issue is the difference in our rear diffusers. True, I could cut it out but the hitch would be recessed behind the hole in my bumper. I will run by the dealer tomorrow so I can get some measurements off of a 15 with a sport diffuser.
Not my car, but here is a good picture of how boxy and far out the diffuser is on my car. Too dark to take photos right now.
