as a driver who keeps re-fitting these P7 run-flats: (1) i like the safety of the run-flats. i drive the DC beltway and surrounding highways and there's just NO EFFING WAY that i'm stopping to change a tire on the side of any of these roads. i've done that once in 20 years of commuting (in my X3) and it was the most frightening experience of my life...drivers around here are completely insane idiots. run-flats have never failed to get me to the shop for a change, and (2) i really like the look of 18" wheels on this car, so i'm not down-sizing.
my commute is fairly consistent (or at least it was pre-covid) so becoming MUCH more aware of potholes has helped me significantly after the first 2 years and 5 blow-outs.
