Eton door speakers installed, but treble weak
So I bought the Etons from Madisound, and had them installed in the "Harmon Kardon" garbage system in my M240i. Plus crossovers. But I didn't watch the install. The Eton tweeters are working, but with terrible rolloff above 5K. I have to turn the treble up all the way to be even close to sounding right, and it still sounds unnatural (though not the muffled yet ear-stabbing pain of the stock speakers).
What gives? Anyone else had this problem? Did my installer mess up some how?
Thanks. I also put the self-contained 10" sub I used in my G35 in the trunk. There's a buzz I need to track down, but that gave the car real bass. I'm happy with that. But cymbals still sound wrong.
