I have not experienced any whining after my fluid change. So, sorry, no ideas on that. I would guess maybe a fill issue, but if you said they checked fluid levels again, that would tend to rule that out. Other guess might be that new fluid disturbed a crud layer on one of the clutches. If so, that should probably ease as crud builds up on it again. But I am guessing.
Changing the fluid was an extremely messy, fiddly, stinky job. Even though I generally do my own maintenance, if I hit the 100K mark I might just pay to have someone else do it next time.
