Electric diff uses traction control sensors and brakes to operate, but it is not the usual DTC system (that we all hate when having some fun). It limits its action to activating the brake on the "lifted" (I do not really mean off the ground by that, just the wheel that has no weight on it) wheel when it starts spinning much faster than the other wheel, in effect redirecting some of the force to the right wheel. It does not cut power or correct for off-axis movement of the car.

I'm not sure if it remains active when turning all the nannies off.
