For maximum confusion, the m240ir is just the m235ir rebadged (BMW Motorsports quite literally sent out a badge kit, plus a few other small tweaks). It still has an N55 with the upgraded S55 oil sump.
But yes, as far as I know, the B58 in the street car doesn't have starvation problems.
