I had a 1998 W202 Mercedes and under warranty I had; hood latch alarm go bad, accessory belt damper go bad, rear brake pad puck installed incorrectly from factory, radio static (unit replaced). But the engine/ transmission were rock solid for around 100,000 miles till I got rid off car. Body was rock solid and I always considered the car incredibly reliable because the things that went wrong - to me I considered ancillary parts or supplier parts.
