What some others said is true - the leather is coated and it's unlikely most products will make it through the top coat and into the leather.
Somehow leatherique products seem to make it through the top coat. I'm not sure how they do it. Your interior should have a lot of sun protection built-in in the form of UV resistant windows, so dried, cracking leather should become rarer and rarer in newer cars.
I like leatherique for when you want the seats to feel brand new again, but otherwise, 303 Aerospace provides the protection I like.
