I'm in New England with pretty wild temperature swings in the fall and spring. I've driven my PS4S tires in sub 30 degree weather and they are FINE. Fine for spirited driving? NO. But fine if you take turns at average Corolla like speeds? 100%
I do put winter tires on, but you can safely drive the car for the few early cold days.
