Like most any car, these cars are HIGHLY dependent on if you're doing more city driving, more highway driving, lots of cold starts and short trips. I'm closing in on 3 years and 30K miles of ownership with the M235 6MT. It still gets the following:

1) In the warm months and with 50/50 highway/city driving, it sees 22-23mpg.

2) In the cold months and with winter gas and 50/50 highway/city driving, it sees 20-21mpg.

3) In 100% highway driving and at 70-78mph, it sees 27 to 30 mpg depending on temp, wind, and topography.

I am not light with the throttle around town, but I don't drive like an ass either. I get up to speed quickly (actually better for mpg) and don't lug the motor in rpms below 2,000.

I drive in Sport+ almost exclusively though I've seen absolutely no difference in MPG driving in other modes.
